Ultrapure Water straight from the tap
The OptiPrep2 ultrapure water system produces ultrapure water using a combination of pre-filter, mixed-bed cartridges, UV oxidation and a scavenger filter from permeate from a reverse osmosis system or deionized water.
The produced pure water can be tapped with a flexible dispenser, the withdrawal amounts from 0.1 to 99 liters with a flow rate of 8.0 l/min. The system has overflow protection and allows the unattended removal of the ultrapure water produced. To ensure consistently high ultrapure water quality, automatic recirculation takes place when no ultrapure water is taken from the system.
Filtering
The pre-filter removes organic contamination from the feed water using activated carbon. The mixed-bed filterscartridges desalinate the water. The UV disinfection deactivates organic substances and the Scavenger cartridge filter removes these. This reduces the TOC content of the water and organic fouling is prevented. Finally, the water flows through an ultrafiltration module.
TOC-Monitoring
The device is available for different applications in the following three different TOC configurations:
Automatic conductivity monitoring
The µS control at the inlet protects the downstream filter cartridges from unsuitable feed water by shutting off the water flow if the conductivity of the feed water is too high.
User Interface & Software
Process data from the ongoing preparation as well as warning messages are displayed on the touchscreen monitor. Process data from previous processing operations are stored up to 1 year retrospectively. The software includes a maintenance module and a self-diagnosis module, whereby service times< /span> and costs are reduced.
Frame / substructure
All the required components are installed on a frame system and are freely accessible from three sides and from above. Maintenance work can therefore be carried out very easily.
